I was a little late to the Pitch Perfect world, but as a Glee fan, music and acerbic wit are definitely my thing! After a busy week, Pitch Perfect 2 was ideal Friday evening viewing. And I must say, the cinema was more crowded than my usual after work jaunts. Probably more laughs than the original, more aca-awesome music and good performances from adorable Anna Kendrick and the girls. This time they must go up against a German super group for the world title!
Once again, Rebel Wilson is a hoot and I loved the tonguein cheek humour. Likeable, amusing and one for girl power! Female director (Elizabeth Banks makes a successful debut) female writer and mostly female cast. Go girls!
