We have lots of special event that go on at Good Shepherd School. Every year we have a book week, where we do lots of things related to our favourite books. On one day everyone gets dressed up as book characters.

Here are some pictures from this years Book Week.
Here are some children dressed up as Book Characters, with Mr Collins as PC Plod!
As part of Book Week, we had some pantomime actors come to perform part of Sleeping Beauty for us. They got some teachers to help them put on their pantomime.

We all enjoyed the pantomime very much. All of the KS2 children went to Warwick Bridge Street Theatre to see the full pantomime on stage and had a great time.

Lent Activities

Every year during Lent, we raise money for charity. Our favourite charity is the Maria Nirvas Orphanage in India that was started by our Parish Priest Father John.
During Lent we do lots of activities to raise money, including each class holding a cake sale, the art and decorated egg competitions, and the fancy dress and talent shows. Children pay 20p to enter these, and while we enjoy the activities, we are also raising money.
All the prizes for the competitions are bought by the children in Year 6, who also organise the events.
