Another Kiwi based actress, Josephine was Cleopatra in the S5 episode Anthony and Cleopatra, although she was killed by the asp in her milk bath before the opening credits. Josephine also appeared a few episodes later in Motherhood as the goddess Artemis, one mony of us hoped would appear as she is patron to the Amazons. Sadly, this was little more than a bit part and a short lived role for Josephine.

She has appeared in the popular NZ medical soap opera Shortland Street, and the acclaimed 1997 movie 'Topless Women Talk About Their Lives,' which starred Danielle Cormack. She played Desdemona opposite Kevin Smith as Othello on stage in a production directed by Michael Hurst.
Interestingly, Josephine did the voice for Artemis in the cartoon, "Hercules and Xena:The Battle for Mount Olympus" in 1998.
