Biography

One of New Zealand's top actresses on the stage, TV and in film, Jennifer Ward-Lealand is married to Michael Hurst (Iolaus in Hercules) and they have two children. Over 6 feet tall, Jennifer made a convincing Boadiccea in The Deliverer. She reappeared in S4`s The Play`s the Thing as con-woman Theatre impressario, Zehra.

Jennifer has appeared in many TV, theatre and film roles. She appeared in the New Zealand made film 'Desperate Remedies' with her husband Michael Hurst and a young Kevin Smith. She was also in the cult horror hit, 'The Ugly'. Jennifer also had quite a large role in the Kiwi hospital soap, 'Shortland Street'.
