Biography
Ian Hughes is one of Auckland’s top professional actors and has been producing, designing and acting in theatre extensively for ten years. He appears regularly on stage in Auckland. Wellington audiences may have seen him in "Cyrano De Bergerac" with Theatre At Large which was staged at Wellington’s Arts Festival in 1997.
Ian appeared as Diomedes in The Black Wolf and Melas in Callisto.He has also appeared in some Hercules episodes. He reappeared in Season 6's Send in the Clones
He has appeared in "Shortland Street", "City Life" and "Pio"
Recently he directed his own short film "The Waiting Room" and played a part in the Australian feature "He Died with a Falafel in his Hand".
Most recently recognized as Ant in the hugely successful feature "Topless Women Talk About Their Lives". Episodes
