Xena & Gabrielle meet and old friend of Xena`s at a giants graveyard - the giant Goliath who is working for the Philistines in their battle against the Isrealites. Xena and Gabrielle help the biblical David defeat Goliath as in the bible story - slingshot and sunny day included. The giant SFX are more convincing than the centaurs at least. A rather dull episode short on thrills, generally regarded as one of the weakest episodes.

Notes: The original ending had Xena chase the giant Gareth who killed Goliath`s family, but it was felt that one giant was enough, and the death of Goliath was an appropriate ending. The sequence with Xena killing Gareth turned up in the episode A Day in the Life
