Name: Adam Armus and Nora Kay Foster

Biography

Armus and Foster are one of the top comedy writing teams on Xena. Based in LA, Armus worked in Law, Foster in teaching and sales. After meeting at UCLA in a writing class, they teamed up and wrote comedies together with not much success. Eventually they were picked up by Rob Tapert for Hercules and wrote the episode 'March to Freedom' that featured a pre-Ally McBeal Lucy Lui.

Their first Xena episode was Chariots of War. They have written regularly for the show since then, and have also written for Young Hercules, Jack of All Trades and Cleopatra 2525. The script for Lyre, Lyre is their last for Renaissance as they have now been hired to work for David E Kelley on The Practice and Ally McBeal!

Look out for the always entertaining Adam and Nora on the Anchor Bay DVD releases. A fun pair.

Update 2006:
Armus and Foster were producers on the hit TV show Heroes. In more recent years, they are producers on the hugely popular The Following. Good to see them doing well.
