Biography

Kiwi actor Tamati Rice appeared in The Price as the cowardly soldier Garel who Xena puts right. He reappeared in a more noble role as the Gaul hero warrior Vercinix who Xena rescued in When in Rome. Tamati also appeared in the Season 5 opening episode Fallen Angel as the archangel Raphael.
He had a small role in the acclaimed movie The Piano, appeared in the NZ movie "Channeling Baby" with Danielle Cormack and Kevin Smith, and like most Kiwi actors, has appeared on hospital soap, "Shortland Street."
