Julius Caesar returns once more as Xena gets another crack at her worst enemy while trying to rescue a rebel leader. This time we get a bit more of the politics of Rome as Caesar has to deal with Crassus and Pompey, who were called the triumverate apparently. Gabrielle also has a big choice to make as Xena rather callously gives her a difficult task - delivering a man to almost certain death.

Karl Urban also appeared in Altared States as Maell, and Comedy of Eros as Cupid. Jeremy Callaghan was in Blind Faith as Palaemon, Matthew Chamberlain was Orpheus in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and Xena`s treacherous deputy Darphus in The Gauntlet. Tamati Rice was in The Price and reappears in S5`s opener Fallen Angel.
